hive.contractors: the CRM our contractors' leads flow into
Built for small contractors, by people who run one. Leads, estimates, receipts, planning and homeowner updates under one roof — and the place a lead from any of our sites lands next.
Hive is different from the other sites here: it is not a business's public face but the system behind one. It started as the tool GS Construction runs its own operations on, and it is now the product that our other contractor sites hand their leads to. Made by contractors, for contractors — in English, Polish and Spanish.
One roof
Finances, estimates and documents, leads and clients, vendors and compliance, planning, team and time, communication, photos and timelapses, homeowner updates. The welcome pages walk through each, but the home page makes the point with one screen: a list of bank transactions with receipts matched to them automatically, and the two that still need a person flagged in yellow.
The busywork runs itself
The part contractors notice first: receipts are read and matched to transactions on their own, summaries write themselves, and the routine work — reminders, follow-ups, the paperwork every job needs — runs in the background. An estimator corrects a draft once; the next draft is better for it.
Why it is on this list
When a homeowner sends the form on gs.construction, the lead is caught in that site's admin — and then it is in Hive, as a client and a job, without anyone re-typing it. The website, the admin and the CRM are one line, which is what "no lost lead" actually means in practice.
What we would point out
- A contractor's whole business in one place, in three languages
- Receipts and bank transactions matched automatically, exceptions flagged for a person
- Estimates drafted by the system and improved by every correction
- The place every lead from our contractor sites lands next, automatically
